Crying is a common event in the lives of all babies. In fact crying is the first thing, every baby does when comes out of the womb. With the first cry the baby takes some air into the lungs for the first time in life.
A baby cannot express its needs or troubles in words. The only way of expression is by crying. Though babies use various other ways like feet kicking, the best way the babies use is crying.
Most of the times, it is very difficult to know the exact cause of the cry. Here are the common reasons for crying:
Hunger - a hungry baby cries till he/she gets the milk.
Wetting - urination and defecation causes crying.
Loneliness – when they feel lonely they cry.
Tiredness – if the baby is tired because of journey or some other reason, she will simply cry.
Heat and cold – when the baby feels too hot or too cold, the baby cries.
Tight clothing - tight cloths are intolerable for kids
Dark room – a baby needs some dim light always, and if there is darkness the baby cries.
Mosquitoes - these creatures disturb the baby’s sleep by sucking the blood.
Nasal blocking – if there is nasal blocking due to cold, the child will cry till the passage is open.
General aching - generalized body ache with restlessness can result in continuous cry.
Habitual cry - some babies cry without any reason, and a doctor is needed for help.
Infections – sometimes babies cry because of pain and irritation caused by infections.
So, instead of shouting at the kid or getting irritated, try to understand the reasons behind the cry.
