Most of the parents face the problem of their child being lazy and not doing his work. Sometimes it becomes very difficult for a parent to handle this issue. Does your child get up late every morning? And always gets late for his school? Then you should help your child get rid of his laziness because it will not just make him a slowcoach but also affect his performance in studies.
Here are some tips to get your child rid of his laziness:
- Give your child some tasks to complete and give him a deadline to do the work. This will teach him the importance of sticking to time.
- When you give your child instructions, see to it that he follows them.
- Make your child repeat your instructions, in this way you can know how attentively you child listens to you.
- If Your Child Completes a Task in the given time, reward him and praise him for his effort.
- Don’t help your child when he is doing a task, let him do it himself. Try to make him do his task independently.
- Take the effort to teach your child the things he is not able to do, so that the next time he’s given a task he can do it himself.
- Be careful that you are very patient with your child when you explain him something.
- Be punctual about the time allotted to your child to complete a particular task.
- Tell your child before itself the penalty of being late and the reward of being early or being on time.
You should work together with your child and help him get rid of his laziness. These tips will help you to encourage your child to do things on time and when he does things on time, it will help him become active and smart.

Children are the best promoter for “monkey see, monkey do.”
so first thing first, are we as parents behaving like that in our daily lives?
for me, I always likes to lie in bed even though I am already awake. My elder son, 3 years old, does that too….Prove me point?
so we got to be who we want our child to be FIRST, before we can sucessfully make them to do it…..
