In this contemporary world, Permissive Parenting Style is the most easy going style. Parents following this trend of style offers a lot of freedom of expressions to their child. They do not set rules or interfere with the child. They believe that their children should make their own decisions and they always support their children.
They love their child a lot and have a very good bonding with their child. Parents give rewards and gifts to their child out of love and happiness. They don’t make boundaries and do not expect obedience from them.
Signs And Symptoms Of Permissive Parenting Style:-
- The parent is undemanding but at the same time responsive.
- Accepts the child.

- Children are allowed to control their own behavior and make their own choices.
- Lack of responsibility,self-control and motivation becomes apparent.
Development Of The Child:-
- Children whose parents follow permissive parenting style tend to show more negative effects rather than positive effects. They become more aggressive and irresponsible.
- The do not have boundaries, so they feel insecurity.
- Children becomes more demanding and selfish.
- Children have good social skills and high self-esteem because of the high responsiveness from the parents.
- Permissive Parents are overprotective for their child. This also results in new set of problems for the child.
Getting Out Of Permissive Parenting Style:-
- Permissive Parenting Style can be effected when you start making boundaries between you and your child. You need to set certain rules and regulations for your child. This shows that the parent has the ability to tell the child what is acceptable and what is not acceptable from the child.
- It is necessary to see that your child follows certain rules without being influenced by money or any other materialistic thing. If you observe that your child is doing inappropriate things, it is the time to change the parenting style
