Breastfeeding is the best feeding for the baby. Has been proven that human milk contains special ingredients like DHA (docosohexaenoic acid) and AA (arachidonic acid) which contribute to brain development. There are many benefits from breastfeeding the baby like bonding between the mother and the baby. Breast milk contains mother's antibodies and passes these to the baby, which help to protect the baby against allergies and different illness. As your baby grows your milk changes in order to meet babies nutritional needs. However from my own experience when mother breastfeeds the newborn baby the first two weeks, should do breast massaging into worm water, in order to help the brest to produce clean milk. In this way the mother reduces the risk from getting breast infections which are quite common.
We can always use the breast milk as medicine to the baby.

Hi ,

We have been blessed with a baby boy on 16 Oct 07. We have seen today that the baby eyes are more wet than normal days(looks like the baby is sheding more water from the eyes which causes the eyes to be sticky). Is it a cause of concern and should we see our doctor?
